When it comes to processes and procedures (SOP's), it's often something we wish we had… but few actually do it.

We worry that we won't do it right.

We get lost in the tools.

We're not sure what it should look like.

I don't claim to have all the answers — far from it — but I do think we need to look at these things in practice rather than just theory.

If you're feeling stuck, unsure of where to start, or just want to look at another perspective, then I've got a little something for you!

In this video I walk you through a super-simple system for setting up and documenting your processes, as well as writing a SOP (in the example I write an SOP for conducting a consultation call with a website prospect). It's not the only way to do it, it's not the best way to do it — but it's a practical and real-life example of a way you can actually do it and get it done.

Hopefully you enjoy this over-my-shoulder look at creating some processes and standard operating procedures.

There's no one “right way” to do it — the important thing is that you start… It's the only way you'll be able to make improvements!

I'd love to hear more about how you document your processes — so hop on over to our group and share your experiences!
