After spending 15 years as a graphic designer and earning a business degree, I launched my agency, OGAL Web Design, in 2017. A year later, after finding the amazing community around WordPress, I co-found The Admin Bar, which has grown to become the #1 community for WordPress professionals. Funnel Packs

From the moment I took No Fear Funnels (an amazing course by Dave Foy) I’ve been hooked on funnels. It combines the fun of designing websites with the strategy of marketing. When you get all the pieces lined up perfectly; the sum is greater than its parts.

Dave does an amazing job of teaching you every step of a well-designed marketing funnel. Being completely convinced myself, I sat off to start creating lead-generation funnels for my agency’s site.

The lead magnet was first— and it was beautiful.

Next, I put together a landing page with a nice little popup to capture my visitors email address.

The email sequence started off with the delivery of the lead magnet… and then… well…Then I got distracted  (as we tend to do when working on our own stuff). A client called, my inbox went berserk, the kids came home from school, and life got in the way.

And there my “funnel” sat. Unfinished.

In fact, the first 2 funnels I built for myself followed that same exact story arc.

But it would not be the fate of them all, thanks to Funnel Packs.

If you haven’t heard me gush over Funnel Packs yet, let me give you the rundown.

Funnel Packs are pre-built marketing funnels that you can have up and running on your website in under an hour… just watch me.

These aren’t the half-baked version of funnels like I was making, either. Each pack comes with a customizable lead magnet, customizable WordPress page templates for your landing page, thank you page, popup, and a full sequence of emails to nurture you client all the way to the sale.

The founders, Matt Davies and Mel Fallon, have spared nothing in making these a complete package.

For starters, the content is absolutely top-notch (far greater than anything I could write for myself). Their experience in the web industry has positioned them perfectly to deliver a product that any agency would be proud of.

Each pack even comes with unique graphics, cover designs and optimized landing pages.

I’m telling you— they’ve left out NOTHING.

Plus, the damn things are just so easy to use! Believe me… I have 8 of them and I can’t get enough.

I get asked all the time “Which one’s your favorite?”. And while it’s kind of like picking a favorite child (depending on the day),  I did want to rank my top 5 Funnel Packs. The ones I think any agency could benefit the most from.

Ready?  Let’s go!

#5. Speed Optimization

I don’t claim to be a performance expert, so it’s not a central focus of my agency. However, the Speed Optimization Pack is such a great way to start collecting leads by grabbing some of the lowest hanging fruit.

9 out of 10 sites have performance issues (don’t fact check that, just believe me… I’m on a roll, okay?). This means that nearly every site you visit could use SOME sort of optimization (yep, even yours)..

It could be as simple as installing caching, minifying images, or dropping the cheap shared hosting… But if you dig hard enough on any site you can find something to improve.

The problem is, most website owners don’t understand the importance of a well-optimized website.

And that’s exactly why this Pack comes in so handy.

All of the client education is done for you through a 5-part lead magnet that covers the importance of a fast-loading website and all the major contributing factors (like page size, image optimization, caching, etc.).

The nurturing email sequence takes them a bit deeper into each set of optimizations and gives the prospects easy ways to identify problem areas on their site and simple things they can do to fix it. If they follow along there is no doubt they’re going to begin to find issues with their site.

But if you’re clients are anything like mine, it’s just enough rope for them to hang themselves with.

By the time they reach the end of the email sequence you are perfectly positioned to book a consultation to help them fix the problems they are now fully aware of.

#4. Lead Generation

So, this Pack is a bit like the movie Inception. It’s a funnel that talks about building funnels.

Confused yet?

Don’t be— because Funnel Packs thought this all out. Nowhere in the entire Pack is the word “funnel” mentioned.

Why? Because that term is industry jargon your client doesn’t need to know. Instead, this Pack focuses your prospect on ways they can begin to generate more leads from their website.

Again, client education plays a crucial aspect in this Pack. Business owners typically lack the knowledge and imagination of what a website can do for them— and that leads us to making a lot of “brochure” style websites.

The Lead Generation Funnel Pack opens a new door of possibilities for your prospect.

And what client doesn’t like the idea of getting more clients from their website, right?

In this Pack the lead magnet and email sequence take a more linear approach to educate the customer on how they can build a pipeline of new prospects on their website— including ways to automate it (and clients love the idea of saving time).

But the show stopper is the consultation email at the end of the sequence. There’s a big reveal in the last email that has been building the entire time.

While I won’t give it away here, let’s just say minds will be blown when the clients finally connect the dots.

(Interesting note: This is Matt Davie’s favorite pack).

#3. After-Sales Nurturing

I think this pack making my top 5 will surprise people the most. I know it did me.

When I initially purchased funnel packs (I’m customer #0001), and signed up to get my choice of 10 packs (part of the original Founders Offer) I won’t lie and say this one was high on my radar.

How will this work in my agency? What is it that I can “sell” once a client gets through this sequence?

But I did see the value in a funnel that would provide an offer that is valuable to just about any business— and I’m glad I took a chance on this one.

The After-Sales Nurturing Funnel Pack fits perfectly with almost any business regardless of the niche you serve.

It’s important for you, the agency, to position yourself as a trusted source of information… and when you can show that you are more than a code monkey clients begin to see you (and treat you) differently.

The focus areas included in this Pack are offboarding, thank you gifts, VIP customers, repeat business (bingo!), and customer segmentation.

For me,  I knew I could hook my clients on repeat business. There is already so much data out there that proves how much cheaper it is to retain a client than to scout for new ones I know I had something there.

In fact, this pack inspired me to write one of my favorite blog posts on my site (AND I have this nifty funnel to use as a content upgrade!).

Remember the whole “what can I sell” thing? Turns out, there is plenty here for your agency. In fact, the email sequence and lead magnet provides you with plenty of examples of ways your prospect can nurture customers and YOU can help them do it through setting up automations, email auto-responders, and even integrations with your eCommerce platform.

If you know me (hey!) you know I love recurring revenue… and the Care Plan has completely transformed my agency (and in all honesty, it’s providing my family with a better life).

That’s exactly why the Care Plan Funnel Pack ranks so highly on my list.

It’s my goal with every new project to sign my customers up to some sort of recurring revenue, and luckily my conversion rate has been decent.

Since implementing the Care Plans Pack that conversion rate has spiked to nearly 100%.

Pretty good, eh? Yeah, this Pack is magic.

I think we’re all guilty of being too deep inside our own businesses.  When this comes to selling maintenance packages this is a real detriment to the process.

Go have a look at the majority of care plan / maintenance pages on your competitors websites. It’s a big list of all the technical features that you understand and your clients don’t give two shits about.

This pack looks at the entire product from the opposite angle— putting the customer at the center of the focus and providing empathy.

Instead of explaining to them the importance of web security and incremental backups, the lead magnet and nurturing sequence paints the picture of how having a Care Plan makes life so much easier. This message resonates perfectly with your customers making signing up for a plan a no-brainer.

One last thing I want to point out about this pack is how effective it can be not only on potential new customers, but current and past customers as well.  I did a video with Pete Everitt talking about ‘5 ways to repurpose Funnel Packs’ and this pack has fit into just about every one of them.

In fact, I have sold several care packages to past clients who declined them when I made the pitch.

And while I couldn’t quite put the Care Plans pack at #1, it’s truly a must-have for any agency looking to grow their recurring revenue.

#1. Web Audits

The Web Audit Funnel Pack was the second pack to come out (just after the Web Design Pack) and while it was #2 in release schedule, it remains #1 in my heart.

Why? Because this thing is all encompassing, educational, and actionable.

I’m pretty sure you’ve audited a website before, right? But did you get paid to do it? Well, now that’s not a problem!

If you struggled with selling website audits in the past, this Funnel Pack gives you all the ammo you need to show your customer all the value you can bring to the table with your expertise.

It covers the entire spectrum; from design to user experience, search engine visibility, conversion optimization, speed, and even security.

It’s just about every service you could sell to a client all wrapped up in one.

Plus, by nature, this Pack was born to sell. In fact, in the email sequence you get the choice of a sales OR consultation email (something unique to this Pack).

This is also another shining example of how Funnel Packs founder’s experience comes into play. Matt is a self-admitted ‘audit addict’ and his ability to convey some complex information in terms a customer can not only understand but gain value from is quite frankly amazing.

Not only did this pack give me the confidence to value my time in auditing a site (and charging for it!) but it also taught me how to do better audits (yeah, I read the lead magnet and emails like a customer too).

More to consider

Narrowing down my top 5 list was actually more difficult than I thought. In fact, if you catch me on a different day I might slip up and swap a few of them around. The truth is, there isn’t a bad apple in the bunch.

Honorable mention to one of my personal favorites, the SEO pack. Because SEO is a bit of its own beast, I didn’t think it made sense to include it on a list for “every agency”… But if your agency sells any kind of SEO put this in the top 3 for sure.

Additionally, if your agency offers email marketing as a service, the Email Marketing Pack is a great way to demonstrate the (underutilized) power of email.

To be fair, and transparent, I have not accessed the PPC, Social Media, or eCommerce packs.

But it’s not just the packs that make me such an advocate for the company. These are good people. The kind of people who will go the extra mile (or kilometer) and put everything they have into not only delivering a stellar product (the only one of its kind) but even better customer service.

Plus, there is so much more! Their customer-only Facebook group is constantly being filled with amazing videos that Matt puts together to expand on ideas in the packs, give you inspiration, and even tactics to help you close more projects.

They are constantly pushing the envelope to bring even more value  to the table.

In fact, you want in on a little secret?

Unless you’re already an existing Funnel Packs customer, you haven’t been privy to a new offer due to release to the public in September: The Sales Addon.

The sales addon becomes an extension of your funnel allowing you to close the deal all within your automation.

Similar to the pack itself, the add-on gives you an additional page (the Sales Page), professionally optimized sales copy (so you don’t have to), custom illustrated graphics, sales, reminder, and follow-up emails, abandoned cart sequences, onboarding sequences (deep breath) and training videos that will show you how to setup the entire system.

Having trouble deciding?

Hopefully something in this post helped you narrow down which pack you want to get started with… but why should you have to choose just one?

Due to popular demand, Funnel Packs has released the “5-Pack Special” which gives you the option of choosing 5 packs from any in their arsenal. Better yet, it comes at a discounted rate— 5 at the price of 4.

Choose 5 Packs and Only Pay for 4!

I’ll admit, when I first heard about the concept of Funnel Packs I didn’t see how I would use more than 1 or 2 of them. Well, one or two packs in and I started to see all the ways I could use these funnels as content upgrades, resources, inspiration for blogs, Facebook posts, Google My Business post content, and so much more.

No matter which pack is the best for you, you need to act fast, the price of all Funnel Packs products is increasing September 2nd, 2019. This is your last chance to get these amazing packs at their original price (which was actually due to increase back in May).
