In a recent poll in the group, I asked the question “How often are you going out and proactively looking for leads?”.

The vast majority (a whopping 84%!) said that they are “rarely” or “never” the ones perusing customers — but relying on people to find them instead.

It creates an interesting paradox when you couple that with the fact that the biggest challenge people in the group talk about is keeping their pipeline full. 

But not everyone is ignoring an outbound strategy…

In fact, my buddy Pete chimed in on the conversation (he runs a long-standing and successful agency in the UK) saying he’s made proactively seeking out potential new customers an every day thing for him…
