After continually testing alternatives, Shortpixel continues to provide the right combination of results and ease of use. I love that I can “set and forget” this plugin and it works in the background optimizing all my media.

I love using dynamic data, and ACF Pro continues to be the most popular option. It integrates beautifully with GB/GP and my lifetime license makes it hard to consider any alternatives that would add to my expenses.

After several years with SEOPress, last year I started testing Slim SEO, and honestly I haven’t missed SEOPress at all. My needs from a SEO plugin are simple, and Slim SEO does the basics I need and stays out of the way.

The Perfmatters plugin is the secret weapon in my arsenal, making my already speedy GP/GB sites even faster with their easy optimizations. It helps me host fonts locally and reduce WordPress bloat in just a couple of clicks.

There are plenty of block packages out there, but in my opinion none of them strike the perfect balance of simplicity and customizability quite like GenerateBlocks. Much like it’s sister theme, GeneratePress, GenerateBlocks is deceivingly powerful, allowing me to create just about anything I need with just a handful of blocks. This modular approach works perfectly with my philosophy of not overcomplicating things with too many bells and whistles.
