Meet Nirmal Desai

When Nirmal Desai entered the WordPress world in 2013, he didn’t have a plan—just a deep desire to learn, grow, and do meaningful work. That drive led him from his early development days to founding CreedAlly in 2019, a WordPress agency that now boasts a 20-person team and a mission rooted in purpose over profit.

In our conversation, Nirmal opened up about the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, what it takes to lead with integrity, and how chasing excellence (instead of chasing money) became his north star. He also shared his proudest achievement: creating a company culture that feels like family—where people grow, celebrate, and support one another beyond the workplace.

This is an inspiring one, folks!

What kind of work did you do before your current business and what did you bring with you into this career?

My journey started in 2013 when I joined Multidots, a company that introduced me to the world of WordPress. I had no prior experience in this space, no connections, and no roadmap—just an eagerness to learn and an unshakable belief that I could carve my own path.

I started from ground zero—learning, experimenting, failing, and growing. In those early days, every project felt like a mountain, every challenge like a test of resilience. But I pushed through, discovering not only the intricacies of development but also the power of the WordPress community.

What I carried forward into my career was more than technical expertise. I brought with me a relentless hunger for learning, a deep appreciation for collaboration, and a commitment to doing things the right way—even when shortcuts seemed tempting.

What part of the website creation process is your favorite to work on and why?

For me, the most fulfilling part of the website creation process is deeply understanding a client’s business—its struggles, aspirations, and the real impact it aims to create. A website isn’t just about design or functionality; it’s about solving real problems, building trust, and driving meaningful success for the people behind the business.

Every client comes to us with a vision, often accompanied by frustrations—maybe their current website isn’t converting, their customers aren’t engaging, or they feel lost in the digital landscape. I take the time to listen, truly listen, because behind every project is someone who has worked tirelessly to build something they care about.

Before we design, code, or strategize, I put myself in their shoes and ask:

  • What challenges are they facing daily?
  • How can this website not just exist, but actually help them grow?
  • How will success feel for them—not just in numbers, but in their journey?

By approaching web creation with empathy and a results-driven mindset, we don’t just build websites—we build solutions that empower businesses to scale, attract the right audience, and achieve measurable growth. The best part? Seeing the relief, excitement, and confidence in a client’s eyes when they realize their website is no longer just an expense but a powerful asset driving real success. That’s when I know we haven’t just delivered a project—we’ve made a difference. And that’s what keeps me going.

What motivated you to start your own business, and what keeps you going when things get tough?

Starting my own business wasn’t just about making money or being my own boss. It was about creating something meaningful, building a team, and making an impact.

When you read “CreedAlly”, it says

“Group of People with different abilities following the right path to achieve a common goal.”

I saw gaps in how agencies worked—clients treated as transactions rather than relationships, projects rushed instead of nurtured. I wanted to change that. I wanted to build an agency where every project was crafted with care, where team members felt empowered, and where clients knew they had a true partner.

But entrepreneurship isn’t easy. There have been sleepless nights, tough decisions, and moments of doubt. One of the hardest moments was making performance-based team decisions when emotions were involved—balancing what’s best for the company with personal attachments.

What keeps me going? My team. My clients. The vision I started with. Every time I see a team member grow, a client appreciate our work, or a challenge turned into a victory, it fuels my passion. And when it gets really tough, I remind myself:

“You didn’t come this far just to come this far.”

I wrote a blog on our first anniversary – I read it everytime when i need motivation, I always believe that it’s always within, outer motivations are temporary.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever gotten and how has it affected your business?

There is a lot of advice I received from my different mentors. One of the most impactful pieces of advice I received early on was:

“Don’t chase money. Chase excellence, and money will follow. Build Passion Driven business and not money driven.”

It changed the way I approached business. Instead of focusing solely on revenue, I made quality, relationships, and value my top priorities. Clients trust us because they see that we care—we go beyond the contract, beyond the deadlines, and truly invest in their success.

This philosophy has built CreedAlly into what it is today—a team that believes in delivering solutions, not just services. It has also shaped how I mentor my team: skills can be taught, but integrity, passion, and a commitment to excellence are what make a difference.

As an entrepreneur, what’s your proudest accomplishment?

There are many milestones I’m proud of—working with enterprise clients, being recognized as a WordPress VIP Silver Partner, expanding my team. But my proudest accomplishment?

Building a company culture that feels like family. Also, a Culture of Growth: Striving to Be Better Every Day.

At CreedAlly, we aren’t just colleagues. We share wins, we support each other through struggles, and we create an environment where everyone feels valued. From our gaming culture (with epic PUBG tournaments) to celebrating life milestones (weddings, birthdays, new beginnings), it’s more than just work—it’s a bond.

The culture that is driven by 4Ps and 3Cs to connects another 3Cs:

🔹 4Ps – Passion, Patience, Proactiveness, Precision

🔹 3Cs – Connect, Confidence, Conclusion

🔹 3Cs – Crew, Client, Company

And perhaps my most fulfilling moment was when we adopted a family in need, providing monthly support for a hardworking mother and her mentally retired daughter. It reminded me that success isn’t just about business growth—it’s about using that success to uplift others.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how much you achieve—it’s about the lives you touch along the way.
